17th of December

Suddenly everything went pitch black, a power cut.

Boom! Crack! A thunderstorm!

They stood up and looked around the house.

Boom!

Crack! Thunder sounded and lightning struck, luckily not the house. The children were terrified, as for the cat, she was no were to be seen. They sat around the christmas tree and talked.

When suddenly the power came back on, there they sat, munching christmas cookies and sipping hot chocolate.
