Making a costume

 

Part 1Character felt mask

You will need:

Felt

Pen

Scissors

Elastic thread or band

Needle

Thread if you have thing or parts to sew on

A Sylvanian to test your mask on in my case Lulu Fisher

 

1. Get your felt and draw up an animal, fruit or anything for your mask, remember your mask should be about the size of your Sylvanians head.

 

2. Cut your mask.

3. If you have 2 parts or more for your mask sew them together.

 

4. Get your elastic and sew it on either sides.

 

5. Draw a face on it!

Part 2 a coat

 

You will need:

Felt

Needle &thread

Small button or pearl

Scissors

 

1. Cut out felt in this shape

2. Sew the button or pearl on one side and make a hole in the other.

Finished!

If you want you can make heaps of these and make a costume party:)
