13th of December

Chloe and her friends were about to play hide and seek. They all did paper scissors rock with each other and now Bettina and Chloe were doing the final round. “I have paper and you have rock so I won!”cried Bettina. So it was decided that Chloe was the ‘seeker’ and the others would hide.

“One, two, three…”counted Chloe, remebering how to count to ten. Alfie, Strippy, Bettina and Chubby meanwhile quickly and quietly disscused great hiding places.

“Ten!”Chloe shouted and spun round, all her friends were gone.

She noticed a little ear poking out from behind a mountain of cushions, “Found you Bettina” laughed little Chloe as she pulled bak a cushion. A little dissapointed, Bettina came out from under the cushions.

Next, Chloe noticed a bump in the bed! She put her hand underneath the blanked and stared tickling the thing that was underneath.”Stop, stop, I am so ticklish! Okay, you found me! Stop!” giggled Strippy.

Then she ran downstairs and stared to hunt about, after a little while she found Alfie under the table.

Chloe looked and looked for Chubby but just could not find her!

They had a little disscusion on what to do, “Lets start shouting for Chubby and that it is not funny anymore” suggested Alfie, at first nobody liked that idea but after a while they figured out it was the only sensible thing to do now.

All the children then began to shout but Chubby would not come out of her hiding place! Alfie went to get Chloe’s father.

Finally, they found Cubbby behind the bed!

“Why didn’t you come out when we called for you?”asked Chloe, “Did you call? You see I was so tierd that I think I had a nap!” replied Chubby. Even though there was a lot of drama, the children agreed that it had been a good and funny afternoon.
